HCI Equity Partners announces that Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. (NYSE: RRTS) has acquired all of the outstanding stock of A&A Express and Central Cal Transportation.

A&A Express, based in Brandon, South Dakota, provides truckload services. A&A transports primarily refrigerated product throughout the United States utilizing a combination of independent contractors and employee drivers.

Central Cal Transportation, based in Northern California, provides intermodal transportation and related services.  Central Cal transports primarily nuts, wine, and retail import products.
