Washington, DC (July 29, 2025) – HCI Equity Partners (“HCI”), a leading lower middle-market private equity firm, announced that Jeff DeSandre has joined as their newest Executive Partner for Information Technology.

Jeff brings over two decades of deep leadership experience in enterprise IT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and operational excellence. As a former Chief Information Officer of Harrington Process Solutions, AmerCareRoyal (ACR), CSS, and First Quality, Jeff has repeatedly led complex technology initiatives across diverse organizations. His expertise spans ERP modernization, e-commerce integration, supply chain digitization, and global IT strategy.

In his role as Executive Partner, Jeff will work closely with early stage and developing HCI portfolio companies and will assist portfolio leadership teams to:

• Accelerate development and execution of technology strategies
• Support digital transformation and operational efficiency initiatives
• Support HCI’s portfolio company cybersecurity initiatives
• Assist in diligence and integration for new investment opportunities
• Be available as an advisor to leadership teams navigating key IT decisions

Jeff will play a key role in enhancing digital maturity and identifying technology opportunities to accelerate value creation of emerging and early-stage portfolio companies. His work will also support sourcing, growth planning and post-acquisition integration as part of our broader HCI Operations Team.
