Mr. Dickinson is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at HCI Equity Partners and oversees the origination, management, and development of the firm’s investments while leading several portfolio company boards.
Prior to joining HCI Equity, Mr. Dickinson was the Co-Head of Global M&A at Merrill Lynch. He also had roles as Head of European M&A and Head of Global Manufacturing and Services M&A at Merrill and started his career in the M&A Group at The First Boston Corporation (now Credit Suisse).
In addition to his role at HCI, Mr. Dickinson also serves on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Audit Committee of Caterpillar, Inc., and on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation. Mr. Dickinson was previously the President of the Board of Visitors for the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University and President of the Board of Trustees of the Cove School (a K-12 school special education school). Mr. Dickinson has both a Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, magna cum laude, from Duke University.< Back to Team
