Scott Mosteller is an Executive Partner at HCI Equity Partners with extensive operating experience across automotive and aftermarket parts, consumer products, and wholesale distribution. He has a proven track record of driving value creation through operational excellence, profitable growth, and disciplined execution in private equity–backed environments. He has served in senior leadership roles, including President of a $300M business unit and Chief Supply Chain Officer for a $3.5B distributor. In these positions, he drove end-to-end P&L management, supply chain and global sourcing initiatives, and large-scale operational transformations, including distribution center buildouts and acquisition integrations that generated measurable EBITDA improvement.
Scott brings significant global experience, including leading the integration of a $1.6B international acquisition that generated $20M in synergies while improving service levels across hundreds of locations. Across multiple private equity–backed companies—Hopkins Manufacturing, the Exego Group, and Simpson Performance Products—he has partnered closely with management teams and investors to implement operational improvements, align organizations, and position businesses for scalable growth and long-term enterprise value creation.
Scott holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, summa cum laude – Georgia Institute of Technology.
